Operational Hours

Istanbul Sabiha Gocken International Airport (LTFJ) is operational for 24 hours.

Permits and Slots

All operations require prior approvals from CAA Turkey. Slots needs to be approved from the airport authority before applying landing permit.

Aircraft documents like CoA, Insurance along with the slots approval need to be submitted to CAA Turkey for landing permit. The lead time is 5 working days.

Crew Visa

Depending upon the nationality, crew visa is required. Please check with the local ground handler well in advance.

Customs and Immigration

Passengers and Crew can clear customs through VIP terminal.

Passenger and crew details should be provided to the Ground Handler before flight so that customs clearance can be expedited.

Ground Handler

Please provide Aircraft Documents, Schedule, Crew and Passenger details to the ground handler to avoid any unexpected delays during departure and arrivals.

Operational hours and curfews

Brindsi Airport is 24 hrs Operational

Permits

Non schedule operators permit is required for non schedule operators. The operator needs to submit the following documents  5 working days before the date of flight to CAA Italy:

  1. Air Operator Certificate (AOC), with attached Operations Specifications;
  2. indication of the registered office mailing address, fax, e-mail;
  3. right of use of aircraft (whether owned, leased – dry lease – or hired – wet lease);
  4. insurance certificate, drawn up on the standard format of ENAC and valid to cover all aircraft to be used;
  5. Security Program and letter of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Country of the carrier certifying that the Security program complies with ICAO Annex 17.

For Private operations no permit is required.

Crew Visas

Depending on the nationality, crew requires schengen visa.

Customs, Immigration

Customs and Immigration are available at main terminal and can be cleared in 10-15 mins.

Ground handling

The ground handler requires all the information such as aircraft call sign, schedule, crew and passengers information including gender, passport nos and date of births.  Please check with your ground handler in advance for availability of all the required ground equipment.

Business Aviation Operations to Kangerlussuaq

Operational Hours 

In Kangerlussuaq, Operational Hours are from 1000 UTC until 1900 UTC. The airport can be opened outside working hours by paying overtime surcharge.

Landing and Airport Slots

Landing permit is not required at Kangerlussuaq. Notification to the local ground handler is required.

Visas

Crew and Passenger requires visa for entry into Denmark.

Customs  and immigration

Customs and Immigration will be cleared at main terminal. Generally it will be 10-15 mins to clear customs.

Weather

Please check the weather and notams before flight as most of the times weather is not good in Greenland.

Ground handling

The ground handler requires all the information such as aircraft call sign, schedule, crew and passengers information including gender, crew airline transport pilot license, passport nos and date of births.  Please advise the ground handler in advance if you require ground handling services for out of hours.

Operating hours and curfews

In Delhi Operational Hours are 24 Hrs. Please check with the local handler for Notams before flight.

Permits and Parking Slots

Airport Slots are required at Delhi Airport. To secure the slots YA soft copy should be submitted.

To Secure the YA permit , The following documents are required to be submitted to Indian CAA:

C of A, Certificate of Insurance, Passport and Visa copies of Crew, Passenger Manifest and Crew Manifest.

The Lead time to secure the landing permit is 3 working days. Please note the working hours of DGCA is Monday to Friday 1000 IST to 1800 IST. However the YA permits can be secured within 6hrs for Ambulance flights during out of office hours.

Crew Visas

Crew requires Visa for entering India. The Temporary Landing Permit (TLP) for Crew can be issued at only at Delhi but that depends on case to case.

Customs and  Immigration

All the International flights, passengers and crew will be cleared through Terminal 3 at Delhi. Fuel duty needs to paid, if the next sector is domestic. For tech stop flights there is no need for passengers and crew to deplane.

Ground handling

Expect some delays by ground handlers. The parking bays are allocated by Delhi airport. You would be lucky if you could get the parking bay at T3 or expect around 15 to 20 mins travel time on ramp to reach the terminal. Towbar is required to be onboard and needed, as sometimes power in and power out bays are not available.

Business Aviation Operations to Seam Reap

Operational Hours

Siem Reap International Airport is operational from 2300 -1700 UTC. Please check with the local handler for runway closures and restrictions before flight

Landing Permits and Slots

Flight details, owner name and address, schedule, complete crew and passenger details, ATC route and local contact details need to be provided to Cambodia CAA for Landing Permits. The lead time to secure landing permit is 3 working days.

Slots are required at VDSR and can be obtained only after securing the landing permits.

Crew Visa

Crew visa can be arranged upon arrival. The scanned copy of the passport needs to be sent to the local handler for obtaining visas on arrival.

Customs and Immigration

For passengers, visa can be arranged upon arrival. Customs and immigration clearance takes 30 -40 mins and will be cleared through main terminal. Fast track procedure to clear customs and immigration is available and can be arranged by the local handler upon request in advance.

Ground Handler

Please check with the Ground Handler for availability of ground handling equipment in advance.  Please advise the ground handler well in advance regarding visa on arrival requirements  and Fast Track customs clearance so that there won’t be any delays.

Operational Hours

Doha International Airport is operational for 24 hours.

Permits

All operational requires prior approval from Doha CAA. The lead time for landing permits is 1 day.

No slots are required.

Crew Visa

Crew can travel on GD for 72 Hours. Gen Dec form, Crew I.D., Passport are required to clear customs and immigration.

Customs and Immigration

Crew and Passengers can clear customs and immigration through main terminal and it takes 20-30 mins to clear. VIP terminal is also present and can be arranged only if requested the ground handler in advance.

Ground Handler

General Declaration of the Crew and passengers need to be send to the Ground handler after departure, So that there won’t be any delay in obtaining clearances from Customs and Immigration. Please check with the ground handler, in advance for availability of all the required ground equipments.

Business Aviation Operations to Kaulalumpur

Operating hours and curfews

In Kaula Lumpur, There are two Airports Sepang International Airport and Subang Airport.

Both the Airports are 24 Hrs Operational. Please check with the local handler for Notams and restrictions before flight.

Permits and Parking Slots

Airport Slots are required at Sepang International Airport.  Sometimes Parking Slots are difficult to secure.

At Subang  Airport Slots are not required. Airport Parking at this location is Power in/Push back. The operator must carry Tow bar on board.

Landing Permit is required for both Private and Charter flights. The lead time to obtain permit is five days.

Crew Visas

Crew may require Visa’s for entering Malaysia subject to Nationality.

Customs, Immigration

Customs and Immigration at Sepang International Airport is available for 24 Hours and can clear customs in 10-15 mins

Whereas at Subang International Airport is available from 0700 – 2300 Local and Notification of at least 6 hrs is required.

Business Aviation Operations to Dubai

Operating  Hours and Curfew

In Dubai, OMDB and OMDW are 24 Hours.

Permits and Parking Slots

Airport slots are required to operate at OMDB. Parking slots at OMDB are difficult to secure because of high volume of commercial traffic and Airport slots are not available for GA traffic between 1700 UTC and 2100 UTC. So it’s better to choose OMDW where slots are not required and enough parking space is available.

Landing permit is required for Operating in U.A.E. Aircraft Documents and flight details need to be submitted to DCAA for securing landing permit. Lead time to secure landing permit is 24-36 hours and once approved landing permit is valid for 24 Hours.

Crew Visas

Crew can travel on General Declaration  and can stay in Dubai for 7 Days.

Customs, Immigration and Quarantine

Passengers and Crew will clear customs, Immigration at the respective FBOs.

Ground Handler

General Declaration of the Crew and passengers need to be send to the Ground handler after departure, So that there won’t be any delay in obtaining clearances from Customs and Immigration. Please check with the ground handler, in advance for availability of all the required ground equipments.

Business Aviation Operations to Sydney

Operational Hours

Sydney  International Airport is 24 hours operational. Please note the curfew hours are between 2300 – 0600 LT. Only GA aircrafts less than 34 tons are allowed during curfew hours to operate.

Parking Slots and Landing Permits

Parking slots are required at Sydney International Airport. Please secure the parking slots well in advance as it is very difficult in securing slots in last minutes.

For Private non revenue flights landing permit is not required. If operating 4 or 5 times a year with passenger capacity more than 20 landing permit and permit from Department of Transport and Environment(DTE)is required. The lead time to secure DTE permit is 10 working days.

For non Schedule operations  charter permit is required from CASA . The lead time to secure the permit from CASA is 5 working days. Required documents includes Air operator certificate(AOC), Insurance copy and Australian Transport security plan. Australian Transport security plan requires 6 to 8 weeks to process and obtain. Please note there should not be any change in the passenger list which you have submitted in CASA during departures and arrivals.

Crew Visa

For some countries crew can travel on GD. If you need crew visa please send the scanned copy of passport and passport photo to the local ground handler. The ground handler can arrange visa permit in 3 working days.

Customs Immigration and Quarantine

Passengers and crew can clear customs at respective FBOs. If requested the ground handler customs clearance can be arranged on board.

Business Aviation Operations to Beijing

Operating Hours and Curfews

Beijing International Airport (ZBAA) is operational for 24 hours. Please check with the ground handler for any restrictions.

Parking Slots

Airport slots are required at ZBAA. One private jet is not allowed to occupy two or more slots during 0001 – 1400Z in one day.

No slots for takeoff between 2300z – 0059z.

No restrictions between 1600z – 2159z.

Between 2200z – 1559z, CAAC only issues 2 slots/hour. One for foreign registered aircraft, one for domestic.

Please note that at ZBAA, non-ZBAA based business jets are  allowed to park not more than 48 hours. If you need parking  for more than 48 hours, kindly plan to position your aircraft to ZBTJ, ZBSJ, ZYTL in advance.

Permits

For landing permits, a lead time of 4 working days is required. Sponsor Letter with  flight schedule and complete crew and passenger details with full names, passport numbers, expiration dates, nationality and date of birth is required. Sponsor letter should be provided from a local business contact  along with the permit application. Sponsor letter needs to be in a specific format acceptable to CAAC and must be written in Chinese language along with the company seal of local business contact. Sponsor letters require full name and contact details of the sponsor, along with company name and job position of the person signing the letter. Please note the business contact must be located in the same city to which the aircraft is travelling.

Permit is valid for the given schedule only. Crew must follow the route which is given in the landing permit. Only two permit revisions are accepted by CAAC. Every operation in and out China can only have 6 sectors.

Crew Visas

Crew requires visa for travelling to China and it must be a C – Type visa.

Customs, Immigration and Quarantine

At ZBAA, passengers and crew must clear customs, immigration and quarantine from the general aviation terminal only.

Ground Handling
